Cartif CEO, Jose R. Perán, wins Innovative of the Year Award

Convened by the newspaper El Mundo to promote and disseminate scientific knowledge generated by institutions and companies located in Castilla y León, the first edition of this award has recognized the work of a lifetime devoted to innovation. First from the University, then from the company and its current stage from a technology center, the teacher leads Perán dump more than 40 years in R & D + I.

In his own words: "Upon receiving the news of being awarded a prize which refers to a part of professional activity takes place, there is an initial feeling of joy and gratitude to anyone who sponsors and the jury has chosen you , along with some personal vanity or so internalized. There are, however, another noble sentiment, and ultimately much more satisfying and that is to understand that you have the opportunity to express your ideas with a resonance far beyond the usual. In my particular case to repeat that in any economic situation, the progress of a nation passes, regardless of economic policy measures and legal certainty, to create scientific knowledge, to transform this technology and eventually into new and better products and services. "
