Social skills and Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) applied to TICs

Our objective is using Intelligent Systems and Psico-educative Methodologies in order to manage to create systems/applications focused in training people, which belong to communities in risk of social or labour market exclusion, on social and cognitive abilities.

The specific needs of each community are handled by professionals from those same communities, in order to apply TICs to real and everyday problems.

To carry out this training, e-Learning platforms and tools for the creation of virtual environments will be used. One of the focal points is learning through digital leisure, which is called Edutainment.

We are currently working with the following communities:

• People with mental illnesses.
• Adults with specific training needs, especially women.
• Immigrants.
• Adults in the early levels of dementia (Alzheimer).
