3D Colour Digital Laboratory
This laboratory focuses on laser measurement tasks and accurate virtual modeling, both civil work environments as historical and artistic heritage.
The experience gained in many applications, enables us to handle projects using commercial equipment. scanners short and long range, total stations, GPS, software reverse engineering, CAD / CAM and self-development tools (hardware and software) for specific needs. Cartif is also an active member of the National Construction Platform (PTEC) and the European Construction Technology Platform (ECTP).
The laser optical measurement of large areas is based on computing the time it takes for a laser pulse to travel the road back and forth between the scanner and the object of study (time of flight).
The laser optical measurement precision (s = 0.2 mm maximum) is based on the principle of triangulation, determine the coordinates of an object knowing the distance between the transmitter laser and camera that captures its sweep, along with the angle that both formed with the laser trace passes through the object.
We have the latest software releases CAD / CAM and reverse engineering with own custom developments.
