Cartif is one of the most important precursors and holds the secretariat for the Agro-food Biotechnology Cluster of Castilla y León within whose framework agro-food and biotechnological companies, as well as research centers and universities, cooperate with two objectives: to increase the competitiveness of the agro-food industry in Castilla y León by the use of Biotechnology, and to evolve a sector so innovative as the Biotechnology sector within Castilla y León.
